Our Whitewater Rescue courses are designed specifically for raft guides, private boaters and fish and game personnel. They are intensive hands on classes.
Upon completion, students receive a certificate from Rescue 3 International.
Whitewater Rescue Technician is a 2 1/2 to 3 day course with the first day in class and day's 2 & 3 on the water. We emphasize the universal rescue philosophy and low to high risk rescue options. This course covers everything from preplan, scene size-up, medical considerations, anchors and mechanical advantage systems, channel crossing options for personnel and lines, entrapments and many forms of contact rescue. We also have a strainer swim for added fun and excitement and much more.
Students are encouraged to bring their own gear to practice with.
Prerequisite: Basic Swimming Ability
Required Gear: Wet Suit or Dry Suit, Helmet, Water Booties or Tennis Shoes and a USCG Approved Type III or V Life Jacket.
Tuition: $290
Class Dates: April 17-19 WA May 29-31 ID June 12-14 ID
Standard: Rescue 3
Students are encouraged to bring their own rescue gear to practice with.
Prerequisite: WRT or SRT1
Required Gear: Wet Suit or Dry Suit, Helmet, Booties or Tennis Shoes and a USCG Approved Type III or V Life Jacket.

Students work with a Spectra throw bag on a Boatmans anchor in our "wrapped boat" portion of the course.
