A lot of work and preparation goes into each class with location research and acquisition of materials and course workbooks. We appreciate your understanding of the following registration and cancellation policies.

Each student must sign a release waiver for the appropriate class before beginning the course. This usually happens at the start of the first day of class. You can also dwnload these forms at the bottom of this page. We request that all participants for the SRT and WRT courses have adequate health insurance.

Payment Options:    Check, Money Order or Cash

Payment:   50% of tuition is required to reserve your space in the class. The remaining balance must be paid no less than 2 weeks before the class date.

Cancellation:   You may cancel for whatever reason 2 or more weeks before a class and we will refund your deposit (minus 10%) of the total course cost. If a cancellation is made less than 2 weeks prior to the class there are no refunds. Rollover payment for future classes are on a case by case basis.

We want to assure you that Idaho River Rescue has safety as our number 1 concern. We do everything in our assessment, preplanning and operations to keep our classes a safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Rescue training and most outdoor or remote activities have certain risks that each student / participant must be ready and willing to take personal responsibility for.
